Car preparation For a Safe Transport
- Car must be operable. Additional fees apply to inoperable vehicles.
- Tell about all modifications made to vehicle. Lift kit 4x4, lowered etc...
- No taller than 7' feet in height.
- At least 4" inch ground clearance.
Preparing Your Vehicle For Transport
- Your car must not be more than 7' feet in height and have 4" inch ground clearance.
- Gas tank must have at least 1/8 of fuel and no more than 1/4 of fuel in tank.
- Battery must be secure.
- Vehicle should be clean for inspection on pick up.
- All alarm systems deactivated, turned off or disabled.
- All exterior tire covers, grill covers and car covers must be removed.
- All items such as garage door openers, removable cd players, car phones, E-Z passes must be removed.
- No personal items, or hazardous materials forbidden by law.
Keys
U.S. Department of Transportation requires that customers should provide one set of keys for the vehicle, including the ignition, trunk, and glove box.
Antennas
All antennas including temporary ones should all be removed or if possible lowered.
Car Wash
We ask that all customers provide a clean vehicle; this allows the carrier to do a quick and fair evaluation of the vehicle prior to shipment. Also, it establishes the standard for condition of delivery.
Alarms
Be sure to turn off all alarms for transport. If the vehicle requires special instructions to start, please inform the A Class Transport dispatcher. Our company is not responsible for any drained batteries or other mechanical problems resulting if the alarm was not turned off.
Racks
All racks that are permanently not attached to the car should be removed.
Cracked Glass
CNS Auto Shipping will not be responsible for any pre-existing nicks, scratches, chips, cracks, or other imperfections.
Climate
Customers need to prepare their vehicles for all climates. All fluids must be checked and filled. Any damage caused by Acts of Nature, CNS Auto Shippingis not responsible for.
